Caroline is an Amersham based sculptor and exhibits extensively in and around Bucks. Her ceramic work includes indoor and outdoor pieces specialising in organic, human and animal forms. “I am particularly excited about the process of Raku – a ceramic decoration achieved by chance!” Raku is a process which originated in Japan as a form of decoration for tea bowls and creates an exciting semi predictable crackled finish as the work is taken out of the kiln at 1000 degrees centigrade and put into smoking sawdust. Caroline is an active member of the Bucks Art Society, Bucks Potters and Sculptors and Wycombe Court Artists. She also exhibits at Askett Studio and local Galleries.
