After graduating as a mature student in 1998 with a degree in 3D design ceramics, I was blessed with many opportunities to continue my practice. With a background in textiles and fashion design, it wasn’t difficult to translate those skills into clay.
20 years experience means that I am able to pass on what I have learned to help people to discover their own creativity on one of my workshops.
It’s wonderful to watch the confidence grow in someone who thinks they cannot make anything.
The journey with clay has led me to many exciting events, both national and international.
The most memorable was; The international Ceramics fair in Nelson New Zealand. Where it turned out that I was the international element! lols
There are also some wonderful galleries who have supported me for more than a decade, and continue to do so to date.
My own gallery in the grounds of Claydon House (NT) has a lovely courtyard garden and my studio. I Have lived and worked here for over 17 years.
